who are aberdeen foyer?

Aberdeen Foyer (set up in 1995) offers services to young people and adults in the North-East. Their vision is to see people thrive, feel connected and included in their community, where everyone has a safe, decent place to call home and access to resources to live a good life.

They do this by:

• offering housing support to young people who are at risk or are experiencing homelessness

• supporting people of all ages to increase their confidence and learn new skills to enable them to move into work, education or volunteering

• engaging people through education and learning opportunities

• supporting positive mental health and wellbeing

Aberdeen Foyer set up a trading arm in 1999, called Foyer Enterprise, to generate income for the charity.

One of those social enterprises was Foyer Graphics, with its mission to:

1. Create profit to gift back to the Foyer through our design service for clients of any size or sector

2. Provide an in-house design and print service for all of the Foyer’s needs

3. Provide placement opportunities for young people involved in Aberdeen Foyer
